2004 Balletto Zinfandel
This is the second vintage of Zinfandel from our winery. The grapes for this wine come from our vineyard located in an area of the Russian River Valley known for great zin. As grape growers first, we strongly feel that with good grapes comes good wine. It all starts in the field. With the help of winemaker Dan Cederquist, we feel we have once again produced an excellent representation of Russian River Valley Zinfandel.
Aromas are plum, raspberry and blackberry cobbler. There is a rich, smooth entry and long lingering flavors. The flavors are blackberry pie, vanilla & spice. Enjoy!

Soil: Silty sandy loam
Other Information: Our grapes are picked and sorted by hand. This vintage was aged ten months in 100% American Oak barrels. Only 430 cases handcrafted.
